October

Mabel, Darrell & Melvin came for a couple of days
to our place. Were in the area over a week - going
home tomorrow. Dan says this picture looks like
summer. That is the end of it. Had a hard freeze
Friday & Saturday nights. The roses are still good
but everything else is pretty much gone.

Saturday we celebrated Brian's day at Fiesta

Mexicana. Tipped the camera to get all his

family in the picture without getting up!

Tonight we had a pizza party for him at Tammy's.

A nice relaxing evening after gospel meeting this

afternoon.

Some people turn their heads so as to not get

in the picture. But they are still there!

So now tomorrow it is back to school and back

to work. Brian will have his first day at his new

Fall

The impatiens in the old wheelbarrow are blooming like crazy. Just had to put them on my header. They like the cooler weather but soon will be frost and that will be it for now. Nice to have this splash of color to look at every morning when I leave and every evening when I come home.

As you have seen from the girls' blogs we did the diabetes walk last Sat. My camera batteries died so I only got a couple at the start. It was a nice day. And for a good cause.

End of Summer

Back to School

It was so much fun to see the kids off to school again. Hard to believe it is that time again!

A little trip

As most of you might know Monica & I went over to Manhattan. We left early Thurs. AM and got there at 3 PM their time so only missed one speaker of that meeting. We thought Post Falls was the best convention ever but this one was even better. Marilyn G showed us a picture taken at Dagmar of all there who had grown up going to Dagmar. If we had gotten organized we could have had a similar group at Manhattan. There are always several there that I know but some I had not seen in a lot of years. Always nice to reconnect with those we have know in years past and to see they are doing well. It was a very enjoyable trip. Monica & I had some nice visits while traveling.
